I make roots music for people the genre has ostracized. Kids who grew up loving country music, but felt unwelcome or guilty for supporting artists that refused to support them. I write stories that normalize the queer experience. I aim to add names and faces to strife. I want to combine roots genres including bluegrass, country, Texas swing, southern rock and blues to generate an Americana sound purely my own. Every song is a different experience threaded together by an authentic performance and intentional storytelling.
