Music Lessons For All Ages

From singing in the shower to the stage

My Teaching Philosophy

Music has always been the most personal and transformative part of my life, and I teach with the goal of offering that same spark to my students. My journey began with eight years of classical choral training, eventually leading me to Berklee College of Music, where I graduated summa cum laude with degrees in Music Production & Engineering and Songwriting. Along the way, I discovered that the best teachers are the ones who make you feel safe to explore, take risks, and even make mistakes. Whether working with singers in a chorus, songwriters in the studio, or my own Americana band Maggie Monroe & The Twang Station, I’ve seen how growth happens when students feel supported and encouraged to lean into their creativity. My mission as a teacher is to create that environment for every student I work with, so they leave each lesson feeling more confident in both their voice and their artistry.e text and add all the information you want to share.

Private Voice Lessons

My voice lessons blend classical training with contemporary styles, giving singers the tools they need to sing with strength and confidence. We’ll build a healthy foundation through breath support, resonance, and control, then apply those skills to the genres you love — from pop and Americana to jazz, country, or musical theatre. Most importantly, I create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your voice, take risks, and discover your own unique sound.
